Does the POS work without internet?
Yes. Sales continue offline and data syncs when the connection returns. Mobile receiving and stocktaking work offline too.
What hardware do I need?
Yours will do: a POS terminal, a regular computer or laptop, a barcode scanner, a receipt printer. We will help you choose if you need to buy anything.
How long does the launch take?
Usually one day: setup, product migration and training. If you have an opening date, we'll make it.
How do I move products from my old system?
We pull them from your old software or from Excel. New products create themselves by barcode from a 10-million-item database.
Why a subscription instead of a one-time purchase?
The subscription includes updates, support and the cloud. Boxed software is outdated the day you buy it, while X2 POS improves every week.
Will my staff figure it out?
Yes, in a day. A sale is two actions: scan the product and press the bank button. We train your team at launch.
Does it comply with the National Product Catalog (NKT)?
Yes. We store the full National Catalog product database and refresh it every day. The NTIN fills in automatically by barcode.
Do you sell hardware?
We will help you choose and buy a POS terminal, scanner, receipt and label printers for your budget. Already have hardware? We will simply hook it up.
Does a specialist come to install everything?
Yes. We come to your store, set up the register and train your team on site. If you are in another city, we do the same remotely.
How does X2 know how much to order?
From your sales: X2 looks at how each product sells and works out how much you will need until the next delivery. A manager will show you how it looks on your own range.
Can Bai make things up?
Bai takes the numbers from X2’s own calculations and puts them into plain words. But it is AI and can get things wrong, so it shows what matters as numbers you can easily check in the system.
How is Expert different from Standard?
Standard has everything for daily work: POS, inventory, reports, loyalty. Expert adds purchase and cash forecasts, sales goals, the morning summary and Bai, who answers questions and gets things done on your command.
Can I connect X2 to ChatGPT or Claude?
